About Entomo-Logik
Entomo-Logik was created in 2024 by Fanny Vogelweith, PhD in entomology and evolutionary ecology.
After a Master’s degree in organism and population biology at the University of Burgundy (Dijon, France), Fanny continued as a PhD student studying the defence mechanisms of grapevine moths and teaching biology at the same University. After obtaining her thesis with first-class honours in 2013, she was recruited as post-doctorate at INRAe in Villenave d’Ornon (France) on the non-targeted effects of copper (Bordeaux mixture) on grapevine arthropods. Fanny then continued as post-doctorate at the University of Mainz (Germany) where she studied the defence mechanisms of the European earwig and Stingless bees. Fanny then spent 4 and a half years working for M2i Biocontrol where she set up the technical team. This team was responsible for R&D trials, technical documents and training on mating disruption in vineyards, orchards and market gardens. These varied professional experiences have enabled Fanny to perfect skills in entomology, agroecology and pest management.
Her career path has been guided by her passion for insects, field work and the desire to put knowledge attained through her research into the service of tomorrow’s agriculture. It was against this backdrop that Entomo-Logik was born.

Entomo-Logik is a structure combining field work, laboratory work and bibliographical research on agricultural entomology and agroecology. It is structured around 5 main activities: (1) Field studies, (2) Training & Teaching, (3) Support, (4) Consulting & Expertise, and (5) Scientific photography. All services are tailor made and can be adapted to your specific needs.
Entomo-Logik Strengths:
- A PhD in ecology and entomology leading to a high level of expertise in entomology, agroecology and a fundamental understanding of the interactions between plants and insects and their respective natural enemies and allies.
- 12 years’ experience in the field, a source of very good knowledge of crop pests and beneficials.
- 7 years of training on integrated pest management, 4 years of teaching at university (Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees) and presentations at congresses clearly demonstrate an excellent ability to pass on knowledge be it in the classroom, laboratory or in the field).
- 12 years of national and international project management leading to excellent organizational skills, adaptability, analytical capacity, time management and risk analysis.
